Team Sweat Equity was founded to empower local athletes to improve their community through athletics while giving children's nonprofits a fundraising tool that allows them to engage existing supporters in a unique new way.
Each season, Sweat Equity selects several local child-focused nonprofits to benefit from the team’s fundraising efforts. These nonprofits recruit athletes to the team who raise funds for the nonprofit of their choice. Sweat Equity helps these athletes train and fundraise during the months leading up to their choice of one of seven locally organized cycling, running or triathlon events.
